Note Frequency Monitor

Displays detailed note information for incoming notes similar to MIDI Monitor. Compatible with loaded .ascl tunings, when no tuning is loaded note info is based on 12-TET, A4 = 440 Hz. Displays MIDI note number, velocity, voice number, note name, octave, degree and frequency.

When a tuning file is loaded into Live, the device detects the new tuning and applies the updated scale. Note names are only displayed when no custom tuning is loaded, as the Live API does not have access to note names.

An advanced version of Note Frequency Monitor is in development that supports custom note names using a workaround by loading the .ascl file directly into the device.
